$1,000 scholarship --
one individual will be
awarded..
Background:
This
scholarship is named in
honor of Boots and Ray
Reed who are long-time
volunteers (and past chapter
presidents) with PFLAG
Phoenix. This dynamic,
engaging, and absolutely
lovable couple were among
the first to start a PFLAG
chapter in Phoenix in the
late ‘70s. Over the many
years since, they have
continued giving of their
time, invaluable friendship
and determined spirit to all
who have come after them.
It is because of their vast
contributions to PFLAG
Phoenix and the hundreds of
families they have assisted
over the years that we
respectfully, and with
tremendous admiration and
love, name this PFLAG
Phoenix scholarship in their
honor. |
