Our Guest Speaker for January, 2009:  Rev. Patrick Stout

Our guest speaker for January will be Rev. Patrick Stout from Community Church of Hope.  Rev. Stout has made a number of presentations about homosexuality and the Bible and has produced tapes and CDs on the topic.  Rev. Stout will discuss the original meanings of the Hebrew & Greek Bible and how over the years how times, cultures, languages and churches have changed the meaning of the original text.

Rev. Stout is a graduate of Cincinnati Bible Seminary and holds a Bachelor of Science (Music) Degree. He has been in the ministry for 30 years and came to Phoenix in 1992.  In addition to his ministry in Phoenix, he has also ministered in churches in Cincinnati and Albuquerque.  He was the pastor of Gentle Shepherd MCC in Phoenix for 3 1/2 years and is the founding pastor of Community Church of Hope in 1996.
